Amy started her career at just 6 years old singing for seniors along side her mother at Assisted Living and Memory Care centers where her family worked as marketing directors and social workers. She followed her family’s footsteps and began her work to influence seniors by serving in the dining rooms through high school and eventually becoming a caregiver herself. Through the years she grew into roles in sales and marketing, clinical management, and eventually as a licensed Administrator.

Amy has spent the last 7 years as a leader of teams both small and large and as a consultant for those looking to break into the industry. She has the ability to break stereotypes by navigating around obstacles and working with her associates and families to find solutions. She advocates change and ensuring that her teams are led by a servant’s heart through humility and passion for our senior population. She has trained teams on culture and sensitivity training, managing difficult circumstances, and implementing cultures that thrive on love and passion for their residents and for each other. There is never a moment where she is not involved in the day to day operation and care of her buildings and she is an ever-present leader and caregiver for her seniors, associates, and families.

Amy resides in St. Augustine Florida where she relocated from Virginia with her fiancée Steve, and two dogs, Bella and Riley. They are constantly outside whether playing with the dogs or riding their bikes. She can always be seen running a few miles in the sun or spending time with yoga and weights at the gym. Bella and Riley can be seen with Amy at her buildings showering residents with kisses and hugs and snuggles when they need it the most. She is exceptionally close to her family and has 3 sisters and a brother that are all actively involved in senior living either through work or volunteering. Amy believes her associates are family and involves her own family as much as possible in the events and daily adventures of her building, associates and residents. Her faith and love for our seniors and her team can be seen in all that she does and how she talks about her work. She has been following Watercrest since August of 2018 and upon relocation to Florida immediately connected with their amazing associates to join their family.
