Jennifer grew up surrounded by seniors. She was fortunate to know and have a relationship with all four of her grandparents. She spent afternoons and weekends with them making memories that are the core of who she is today. In his working years, Jennifer’s Grandpa was an insurance salesman and weekend visits with him and Grandma often included time with his senior clients talking with them and getting to know their stories. These moments later became the foundation of her career. Today, she is blessed to share her home with Grandma who just turned 95 years old and is one of the biggest blessings in her family.

During an early career in banking leadership, Jennifer felt like something was missing. She knew that she wanted to work hands on making a difference with those whose lives she served. She began her career in senior living in 1998 as Administrative Assistant. She quickly grew in her role and responsibilities as she worked in and alongside the many departments that come together in a community. She took her first position as Executive Director in 2010 and truly sees this role as a calling. Jennifer’s experience over the past seven years as Executive Director includes work in independent, assisted, and memory care communities. She has led multiple buildings to operate as one campus and most recently was an integral part of the opening of a new community in the Daytona Beach area. “There is nothing like the joy that comes from helping residents and their families. In the good times and those most challenging, it is this joy that keeps me going. I am truly blessed to be able to say that I do what I love and love what I do.”

Jennifer graduated from the University of Central Florida with a business management degree in 1995. Recently, she was honored to attend ALFA’s Executive Director Leadership Conference. She is an active member in the local community, chamber of commerce, Girl Scouts, church, and the TEARS Foundation, a nonprofit agency very dear to her heart.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and their five beautiful children: Courtney, Danielle, Nathaniel, Noelle, and Cameron. From ball games to cheer competitions and bike rides to board games, Jennifer enjoys the busyness of her big family. Given a moment to herself, Jennifer’s solace is a walk on the beach or moment in the warm Florida sun!
